Terms of use

Last updated

The short version: be honest and kind, only post what you have the right to share, and double-check important details — like opening hours — before you head somewhere. Workmode is free and run by one person, and it is offered as it is.

1.Using Workmode

By using Workmode you agree to these terms. You can browse without an account. To check in with your name, review, post, or suggest a place, you need one — and you need to be old enough to agree to terms like these where you live.

2.Your account

Keep your sign-in details safe, and use your own account only. You are responsible for what happens under it.

Usernames must not impersonate anyone else, including Workmode itself.

3.What you post

Reviews, photos, posts and suggestions stay yours. By posting them, you allow Workmode to show them on the site, for as long as they are up.

Please do not post anything that is:

  • false or misleading, including fake reviews or speed tests;
  • abusive, hateful or harassing;
  • spam or advertising;
  • someone else's private information, or content you do not have the right to share.

We may remove content that breaks these rules, and suspend accounts that keep doing it. Suggested places are reviewed before they appear.

4.Information on the site

Speed tests, ratings and reviews come from the community, and place details come from Google and Foursquare. They are shared in good faith, but they can be out of date or wrong — wifi changes, places close, hours move.

Check anything important before you rely on it.

5.No guarantees

Workmode is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free. As far as the law allows, Workmode is not responsible for losses that come from using the site or the information on it.

6.Changes and contact

These terms may change as Workmode grows. The date at the top shows when they last did, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
